The 12th edition of the Music Days Festival took place from 21 to 29 April 2018 at Belém Cultural Centre in Lisbon.
The festival titled "Castigos, Culpas e Graças Divinas" (Punishments, Blessings and Divine Graces) is inspired by the disturbing and fantastic world of Hieronymus Bosch's paintings. They start from the observation of the works of the Flemish master and branch out in a number of relationships, ranging from the universe of Dante to the myth of Faust. A plurality of readings, which will be materialised in a Festival that presents itself in the form of a Triptych.
This year, the Music Days Festival supported the Global Platform for Syrian Students in fundraising for Syrian youth. Our Chairman, former President of the Portuguese Republic, Mr. Jorge Sampaio, participated in the press conference presentation of the festival where he explained how this platform will be featured on April 21 at the Young Festival of Days of Music in Belém.
