A one-year extension of the 2018 MoU between BPI/La Caixa Foundation and the Global Platform for Higher Education in Emergencies (former Global Platform for Syrian Students) has just been signed. Thanks to this renewed support, we will be able to cope with delays produced by COVID-19 pandemic and extend some scholarships in order to allow students to complete their degrees. This is great news.
The extra support provided by BPI/La Caixa Foundation amounts to 177.500 euros. The Global Platform for Higher Education in Emergencies (former Global Platform for Syrian Students) is grateful to BPI/La Caixa Foundation for the amazing collaboration developed through this difficult and challenging times. Students who are supported thanks to this grant know how much this scholarship opportunity has changed their lives.
